This year we have a slightly new look to our helmets. We have yellow outlining the blue Javelina script. We also have yellow outlining the two blue stripes on top of our helmet. We also have a JB on the back of our helmets right above the A&I Porky sticker in memory of Johnny Bailey. The players have already packed their travel bags with the newly decaled helmet. We have an early 4am morning departure from Kingsville tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteI fear change. Especially when it's about changing something that doesn't need changing. Tell you what though, the subtle differnce of the new helmet shows me change is not always a bad thing. They are sweet, the yellow(gold) makes them pop. Go HOGS!!! RIP JB!!! Go HOGS!!!
