Javelinas Move Up in Poll

Despite not playing this past weekend, the Texas A&M-Kingsville football team moved up two spots in the national American Football Coaches Association Poll on Monday.

The Javelinas are now ranked 14th in the nation, but will receive a stern test on Thursday when they travel to the defending national champions, Northwest Missouri State for a 6 o’clock kickoff.

The game can be heard on radio through the Macareno Signs and Graphics of Alice Javelina Radio Network at KSIX 1230 AM in Corpus Christi, KOPY 92.1 FM in Alice, KNAL 1410 AM in Victoria and KTAI 91.1 FM in Kingsville. The game will be available to listen to online at http://www.sportsradiocc.com/ and can be viewed online at www.tamuk.edu/southtexan. The Texas A&M-Kingsville football game at Northwest Missouri State on Thursday at 6 o’clock is going to be webcast online at www.tamuk.edu/southtexan.

Javelina fans that are interested in watching the game can get together at McCulley Hall on Thursday night. The game pits the #13 Javelinas against the defending national champions and preseason #1 Bearcats. The game will be webcast by the staff of The South Texan.
