Today was a busy day for the players. After getting back around 8am they had some time to rest. Later in the afternoon they rehabilitated any injuries they had, lifted weights, ran, watched film of special teams, and the game from last night.
Not being familiar with policies regarding injured players, I was wondering if Jav A Blog would be an appropriate place for Hog Nation to get weekly updates on injured players? On most occasions the average Javelina fan is not sure of an injured players status until we do or do not see them on the field the next week. Then again, that might information the coaching staff likes to keep under wraps. Just wondering. That was a long way of asking how our Center Timothy Byerly is doing? Among others that the radio crew mentioned were banged up.
There were a few injuries on Saturday. Those players still have to be checked by the doctors so their status is still unclear. But we always tell our players to be ready and that they are only one play away. Hopefully they will be ok, but if they aren't we are confident in the players that will take their place.
