The Javelinas sacked QB Blake Bolles seven times and limited NWMSU to just 3 plays on more than half (6 of 11) of their possessions.
 
Best Individual Defensive Performance - Matt Romig, TAMUK
Matt Romig spearheaded the Javelina defense forcing a fumble and sacking QB Blake Bolles 3.5 times, with the biggest coming coming on a fourth down with under 30 seconds to play and NWMSU on the Javelina 39 yard line.
