Today a few players and I went to Perez Elementary to speak to the students about getting ready for their upcoming TAKS test. We spoke about the importance of being prepared, studying, eating right, getting a good night’s rest, and answered any questions they had. We even got some singing and dancing in with the children. The students were extremely excited to see the Javelinas and were ready to take on their test. Its all about the kids and the Javelinas love the kids!

Its great that the team goes out to show the younger kids the importance of a good education. Keep up the good work Coach.
ReplyDeleteThat’s the awesome thing about Texas A&M Kingsville Athletics, we really do our part out in the community and especially with the children, which I think is most important. They are our future and Javelina Football loves the kids and we will do whatever we can to help them.
