I used to call Matt “The Professor” because he was the
smartest guy I had ever known and he knew the syllabus better than the
professor did. He was a great football player and an even better person. He was
always a hard worker and he fought a great fight. My heart goes out to his
wonderful family. God bless you Romig and your family and may you rest in
peace. Hog Nation sheds a tear for you #51. The world was a better person
because Matt Romig was on it.
Had the fortune of getting to know Matt a bit myself. He had a big impact on our family. More than he or his family might ever know. He raised the bar for all those around him.
